Youngs Insurance Brokers was proud to join APRIL Marine as we partnered with Mission 1000 tonnes to clean up garbage in the Niagara region on Tuesday, June 28th, 2022. Together, we cleaned up 625 pounds of garbage!
Mission 1000 tonnes aims to change the world by taking action to protect marine and aquatic ecosystems by removing waste from the planet's oceans and waterways while working to promote source reduction of different sources of waste. As both APRIL Marine and Youngs Insurance Brokers offer boat and watercraft insurance, clean and healthy waterways are of great importance to us.
This was a great opportunity to spend time together as a team, give back to our community, and positively impact the environment, which benefits us all.
