Youngs Insurance is happy to be supporting the Welland/Pelham Chamber of Commerce through sponsoring the upcoming 20th Annual Charity Auction.
This event will take place on April 27th at 6:00 pm at Peninsula Lakes Golf Course. The night includes silent and live auctions, food and entertainment. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to two non-profit organizations in Welland - The Hope Centre and Rose City Kids.
The Hope Centre
Funds will go towards updating an existing door at the culinary training center and soup kitchen. In its current state, the doors are hard to maneuver for those in wheelchairs, scooters and those with other physical disabilities.
Rose City Kids
This organization creates an environment where everyone feels welcome and has been dedicated to serving children and youth since 2008. Through their programs, they provide opportunities for children and youth to be in a positive peer environment and feel empowered to make the right choices in life.
The Chamber will also make available an exciting opportunity to support Habitat for Humanity. Tickets are only $75 or tables of 8 can be purchased for $520. The theme is country western hoedown so be sure to get your cowboy hat and boots on and join the party!
