Youngs Insurance Brokers Inc. is hiring for the position of Personal Lines Service Advisor to work in our Niagara Falls location. This full-time position is responsible for the servicing and retention of new and existing accounts. If you are an assertive, highly motivated team player with a RIBO license, this is the position for you.
The Personal Lines Service Advisor performs best-in-class client and policy service to an assigned portfolio. You will work closely with Youngs Insurance Brokers' personal lines customers to identify their coverage needs and find the best insurance solution to suit their budget. The ideal candidate will be able to advise and make recommendations on insurance products, ensuring that professional services are delivered to each client. Training will be provided to help the best candidate reach their goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will manage a variety of objectives and duties, including the following:
- Maintaining a strong relationship with clients
- Quoting new and renewal business for home and auto insurance policies
- Explore upsell opportunities within the book of business
- Provide counselling on coverages based on insurance needs
- Complete web-portal policy changes
- Available for client calls and emails
- Resolve client concerns
- Provide backup for other teams
Knowledge & Qualifications
- RIBO License required (Registered Insurance Brokers Ontario)
- Minimum 1-year experience in personal lines customer service
- Industry knowledge
- Experience with insurance company portals and quoting systems
- Experience on SigXP, would be an asset
- Excellent verbal and written skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in MS Word and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and thrive in a busy environment
- Self-motivated and resourceful with a desire to learn new systems and processes
