Salary: From $38,000 a year + Commission

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to provide quality, responsive day-to day client account management. The Customer Service Assistant must be well organized and possess the ability to prioritize workflow while assisting the Account Representatives and Team Leader as needed. Commitment to supporting the customer service team under Youngs Insurance policies and procedures must be uncompromising so that exemplary customer service is delivered to each client.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Interact with all co-workers and managers with respect and courtesy
  • Handle client inquires related to payments or claims
  • Process and manage all client document workflows
  • Invoice and review downloaded transactions for all policies
  • Update policy detail screens
  • Review policies for rating & coverage accuracy
  • Review renewals to identify remarket opportunities
  • Prepare quotes to support Account Executive or Account Representative
  • Look for opportunities to up-sell related and relevant coverages
  • Identify critical file or service requirements and notify the Account Executive, Account Representative, or Team Leader as necessary
  • Monitor Agency Bill workflow queues and collection of client payments
  • Review renewal lists
  • Prepare and organize files for company audits
  • Follow-up on suspenses for all outstanding documentation required to complete the client file
  • Maintain client file notes in BMS
  • Return client voice messages same day
  • Act as back-up to mail room, imaging unit, reception desk and phone switchboard
