There are many ways to increase your visibility while riding your motorcycle. You can’t trust that all drivers are paying attention to you so make sure you are as easy to see as possible.

Motorcycle Rider Visibility Tips

1. Clothing & Gear

One of the easiest ways to increase your visibility as a motorcycle rider is to change what you’re wearing. You can increase your visibility and safety by wearing bright coloured clothing and gear or items with reflective material on them. You can have yellow or orange fluorescent helmets, gloves, jackets, and many other items.

2. Motorcycle Body

You can also use reflective tape on the motorcycle itself. Use it on parts of your motorcycle near light sources. You can even go as far to actually choose a brightly coloured motorcycle to increase your visibility, too.

3. Safe Motorcycle Riding Practices

The most important thing you need to make sure you are doing while riding your motorcycle to increase your visibility is to use safety riding tactics. You can increase your visibility on the roads by staying out of drivers’ blind spots as it isn’t guaranteed they are properly checking them. Practice strategic lane positioning as much as possible to optimize your safety on the roads.

These tips will be sure to help increase your visibility as a motorcycle rider. Use them as much as possible for your safety and the safety of other drivers.
