Youngs Insurance Brokers Inc. Proudly Presents Wendy Ward Memorial Award for Excellence
NIAGARA FALLS, ON — September 20, 2021 – Youngs Insurance Brokers Inc. is proud to present the Wendy Ward Memorial Award for Excellence in partnership with the Insurance Brokers Association of Hamilton (IBAH).
Commencing January 2022, this award will be given to an individual for outstanding results and conduct on their Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) Level 1 Licence Exam, paired with a monetary gift. This acknowledgment serves as proof of their competence and excellent application of industry standards and knowledge.
Earlier this year, Youngs Insurance suffered an immense loss with the sudden passing of a cherished employee, Wendy Ward. Wendy had been a valued member of the team for over 10 years, leaving a lasting and positive impression on everyone she worked with. Wendy Ward’s legacy of hard work, perseverance, and insurance experience is honoured through this award.
“Wendy was an integral member of our team, and we all miss her dearly. This award gives Youngs Insurance the opportunity to have Wendy’s legacy and work ethic celebrated and carried on for years to come. Continuing Wendy’s legacy is the least we could do, and we are proud to do so,” explained Sandy Valleriani, President of Youngs Insurance Brokers Inc.
Fittingly, the first recipient of the Wendy Ward Memorial Award for Excellence will be awarded posthumously to Wendy Ward on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. at Youngs Insurance’s Head Office in Welland, Ontario.
