Myth 1 | It's Safer

Although there may be clear blue skies and warm weather don’t fall into a false sense of security. There are still people on the road that have no idea how to drive and that can be very dangerous to you. Also, just because there isn’t snow and ice, rain can be just as big of a hazard!

Myth 2 | Riding Gloves Are Optional

The idea of motorcycle riding gloves isn’t to keep your hands warm; they’re designed to protect your hands in the event of an accident. Find a good pair of ventilated gloves that will allow your hands to breath easily and stay cool during the summer.

Myth 3 | Hot Summer Days = Uncomfortable Rides

If you are unprepared this myth can be true... If you don’t take the proper steps, a motorcycle ride on a hot summer day can become extremely uncomfortable. But, if you follow our tips to stay cool on a summer ride you will be just fine, and have a great time!

Myth 4 | You Can “Show Some Skin”

It may be tempting to throw on your shorts and a t-shirt for a summer ride, but this is a terrible idea. Your normal protective clothing is still required even If just riding down the road. There is riding gear available that will both protect you and keep you cool on hot summer days!
