For more than 20 years, Out of the Cold has been serving hot meals to the less fortunate in the St. Catharines community.
Out of the Cold initiative
Seven host churches in St. Catharines open their doors to the hungry and homeless and everyone is welcome to enjoy a warm meal served to them by volunteers. In addition to the meals, this program also offers warm and safe overnight accommodations during the winter months.Youngs Insurance is happy to help in a small way by offering our St. Catharines office as a drop-off location for this amazing program. Out of the Cold provides a very important service for those in our community who need the most help; no one should ever go hungry or feel unsafe.
If you would like to make a contribution, you can bring the items to our St. Catharines office located at 110 Hannover Drive. Items which have been requested include toiletries, personal hygiene products, socks, undergarments, scarves, coats and warm, waterproof gloves.
We appreciate your willingness to support this worthy cause. The program will run until March 31st and we will be accepting donations on behalf of Out of the Cold until this time.
